Alternate universe??

4 October 2013

This morning I think I woke up in an alternate universe.

I had a really deliciously good nights sleep.
I got dressed in the dark and it was a complete success. My tights didn't have holes in and my outfit looked totally acceptable.
When I looked in the mirror though my hair was huge. Like crazy curls all over the place. After all that boasting the other day about not having to style my hair, my hair decided to rebel big time.
I left the house early.
I saw a milk float on my way to the station. I honestly had no idea that milk float's still existed. You should have seen my face when I saw it slowly make its way up Balham High Road...pure wonderment.

My weekend starts in precisely 5 and a half hours and i'm hoping that I manage to switch back to real life before then. Can't be dealing with all this hair styling and looking put together!

In other news, yes...i've decided to write a book. But no I don't know exactly what it's going to be about and I don't know what it's going to be called and I don't really know what the hell i'm doing but I have this feeling that there's something that wants to be written and so i'm going to ditch the fear and write it anyway. Even if no-one reads it but me...which i'm sure is exactly what's going to happen.

  2. I think the rain last night is to blame for your big hair today.
I'm with Rachel, I'd read your book as for you not knowing anything about it yet, just run with those little ideas you do have.
