This was my Christmas...

5 January 2013

Did you miss me?? I feel like I have been away for ages. It has been a good break though, I feel refreshed. Present. Happy.
My Christmas was lovely. There was lots of wine, lots of food...and lots more wine. Then lots more food (naturally).
As is done in these blog parts here are some of my holiday snaps.
The wine/food/wine/food theme sticks by the way.
We spent the first part of our Christmas in Kent with Ben's family...
Christmas morning I was given my main present from Ben;
I am the luckiest girl in the world. Ben is a COMPLETE GEM and no, I am not willing to share him...
The rest of Christmas day was spent laughing, being silly, looking at my earrings and opening presents. Then checking my ears for the 845th time to make sure my earrings were still actually in my ears. Here are my favourite pictures from Christmas lunch.
(I could not believe how much of a hit those glasses were)
Boxing day was spent with the other half of Ben's family playing Dean's incredible 'MEGA DRINKS' board game. Can you believe he made that all himself?????
The next part of my holiday was spent with my family heading up to Gloucester for my Oma's funeral. I don't really want to talk about that much but what was nice was that I got to spend it with this lady.
And her terrible choice of "FUNERAL APPROPRIATE" hats.
The weekend between Christmas and New Year we spent at my Dad and Wendy's house.
Wine. Food. Card games. More wine. More food. And THEN a Second Christmas for us!!!
Both Tash and Dad received hats. Twats in hats was what we called them for a good few hours.
Then we all pretty much looked like twats.
Funny how karma works....
Overall it was a super busy Christmas with super wonderful people. I am truly blessed.
New Year was spent in my mum's pub, prosecco in hand, surrounded by awesome people.
That post will be coming to you tomorrow. Or Monday. Depending on how I am feeling. And considering that I am planning to have a glass of wine in my hand tomorrow afternoon, let's go with Monday!!
